Patriotism Burns at Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School, Thousands of Students and Asatidz Solemnly Commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia

Mojokerto, Al-Amin – Thousands of students and asatidz at Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School participated in a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on the main field of the Islamic boarding school on Monday morning (August 17, 2026). The ceremony, which proceeded in an orderly and solemn manner, was led by Ustadz Hanafi, Head of Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School, who acted as the ceremony instructor. The ceremony began with student preparation, followed by the raising of the Indonesian flag. The flag-raising procession proceeded orderly and was accompanied by the national anthem, Indonesia Raya. All participants performed the ceremony with perfect posture, showing respect for the flag and national symbol. The ceremony then concluded with a moment of silence to commemorate the heroes who fought for and defended Indonesia's independence. The atmosphere in the field fell silent as all participants bowed their heads and followed the procession with respect. In his address as the ceremony instructor, Ustadz Hanafi conveyed the importance of maintaining the spirit of struggle and fulfilling independence with activities beneficial to the nation and state. The students were reminded that the current generation's struggle is no longer carried out by taking up arms, but through education, mastery of knowledge, moral development, and real contributions to society. "My beloved students, our struggle today is different. We are no longer called to take up arms on the battlefield. Your primary task now is to fulfill this independence with activities beneficial to the nation and state," said Ustadz Hanafi. According to him, students play a crucial role in upholding national values. The religious education received at Islamic boarding schools must go hand in hand with concern for the nation and state. With knowledge and morals, students are expected to become a generation that contributes to building Indonesia. After the entire ceremony concluded, the event concluded with a collective prayer. The students and religious teachers offered prayers for the fallen heroes and prayed for peace, unity, security, and progress in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
